Default OpenEd

I've added the OpenEd community site to my navigator links for Recommended Websites about OER. The Creative Commons review of the site commented, "There are so many great educational materials out there—some alreadyopenly licensed and a great deal more in the public domain—and theproblem is that a lot of people still don’t know about them or how touse them. Similarly, the open education movement has produced somereally exciting projects and programs in recent years, but there is noglobal landing space for these inspiring movers and shakers to reallyconnect as a coherent community. Open Ed,the new Open Education Community site, is the result of brainstormingwith other initiatives in the movement on how to provide such a space. We designed the site for open education community members, but also forteachers, learners, and those who just want to get involved. We wereable to build it thanks to the strong support of the William and FloraHewlett Foundation." View the video on the front page for an orientation to the many resources and services available at OpenEd.
